HOX – FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Everything you need to know before joining the movement.

General General

HOX is a logistics platform that connects people already moving — by foot, bike, bus, subway, train, or car — with packages heading their way. It’s not a job or a typical delivery app. It’s a smarter, greener way to deliver.
No. HOX doesn’t operate with fleets or full-time couriers. It connects people who are already on the move with local deliveries along their path. You earn a small reward for helping — not for working.
Anyone with a regular or occasional route — by foot, bike, metro, or car — can sign up. Businesses and shops can also join as Senders or Hubs.
HOX is rolling out across selected European and North American cities. Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, New York, San Francisco, Boston and Seattle are part of the initial network.
No download is required. You can access HOX via web or mobile browser, and optionally install it as a progressive web app (PWA).

Transporters Transporters

Just add your usual route — like your daily commute — or any one-time trip you’re planning. HOX will match you with deliveries that fit your path. Accept what works for you — no pressure, no detours.
After a successful delivery, your balance updates automatically. Withdraw your earnings easily in your preferred currency, like EUR or USD.
HOX rewards you for using the movement you’re already doing — whether it’s commuting to work, visiting family, or even backpacking through Europe. You’re not working. You’re simply making each trip count, and getting paid for it.
Not at all. You choose when to participate. Some transporters deliver daily on their commute; others help occasionally or during trips.
No problem. You can decline deliveries before pickup. If something goes wrong after pickup, our system has backup legs to cover the route.
Not always. Many handoffs happen through lockers, shops, or no-contact drop points.

Senders Senders

Small businesses, online sellers, pharmacies, local services, schools — anyone who needs affordable and flexible local logistics.
HOX supports small to medium packages: documents, products, essentials. No hazardous or high-value items.
Our AI optimizes for speed, cost, and reliability. Routes may be multi-leg, but always tracked and verifiable.
Each delivery leg is evaluated for risk. For sensitive deliveries, the system adds redundancy and insurance automatically.
Senders pay per delivery based on weight, volume, and distance. Pricing is dynamic and shown before confirmation.

Hubs Hubs

A Hub is a trusted location — shop, café, repair store — that acts as a pickup/drop-off point in the HOX network.
Apply through the website. If you qualify, you’ll get a starter kit and training. No technical setup required.
You earn per package handled, plus get increased foot traffic and visibility. Hubs receive a larger share than transporters.
Not necessarily. HOX is designed to integrate with your current workflow. Just a counter or shelf space is often enough.
Yes. You get a dashboard with real-time tracking, daily summaries, and payout history.

Privacy & Technology Privacy & Technology

Yes. HOX protects your data with advanced encryption. You choose what to share, and your identity stays private.
Trust is built on actions. HOX tracks delivery completion, punctuality, and feedback to create a score, keeping your identity private.
No. Each delivery step uses unique QR codes, ensuring only those involved see necessary details, keeping senders and recipients private.
Not at all. HOX’s technology runs seamlessly in the background, ensuring security and reliability without any complexity for you.
HOX is built with redundancy. The system anticipates risks and assigns backup transporters or hubs as needed, so deliveries keep moving.
Our AI optimizes routes, assesses risks, ensures backups, and adjusts pricing, all while keeping your data private and secure.
